Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Shing Mun Tunnel Road, Sha Tin
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road works on Shing Mun Tunnel Road, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 01.30 am to 05.30 am daily on 27, 28, 29 March, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26 April 2026:
(I) Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

- The slow lane of Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound from a point about 1 030 metres west of its junction with the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound to the same junction; and
- All traffic lanes of the slip road of Shing Mun Tunnel Road leading to Tai Wai eastbound from its junction with Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound to a point about 570 metres east of the same junction.
(II) Traffic Diversion
Motorists on Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound heading for Tai Wai will be diverted via Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin eastbound, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road westbound, Pai Tau Street, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin westbound, Tsing Sha Highway westbound and Chik Wan Street.
(III) Public Transport Service Arrangements

- LWB Route No. NA41 (Sha Tin (Shui Chuen O) bound) will be temporarily diverted via North West Tsing Yi Interchange southbound, Cheung Tsing Highway southbound, Tsing Sha Highway southbound, Nam Wan Tunnel southbound, Stonecutters Bridge southbound, Tsing Sha Highway eastbound, Eagle's Nest Tunnel eastbound, Sha Tin Heights Tunnel eastbound, Tai Wai Tunnel eastbound and Tsing Sha Highway eastbound, before resuming its original routeing; and
- New Territories Green Minibus Route No. 482 (Sha Tin Central (Tam Kon Po Street) bound) will be temporarily converted to circular service and diverted via Shing Mun Tunnel Road eastbound, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin eastbound, Sha Tin Rural Committee Road eastbound, Yuen Wo Road southbound and Tam Kon Po Street to Sha Tin Central (Tam Kon Po Street), before continuing its journey on its original routeing to Tsuen Wan Market Street bound.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Notices will be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above temporary traffic and transport arrangements.
