TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road, Southern District

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road during the periods specified below:

A.     Road and Lane Closure

The following road sections and traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

From 11.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following day on 8 and 9 April 2026

The section of Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road northbound leading to Aberdeen Praya Road westbound.

From 11.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following day on 13 and 14 April 2026

(a) The section of Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road southbound leading from Wong Chuk Hang Road westbound;
(b) The leftmost lane of Wong Chuk Hang Road westbound outside Aberdeen Police Station;
(c) The second leftmost lane of Wong Chuk Hang Road westbound outside PCCW Telephone Exchange; and
(d) The left lane of the unnamed road leading from Heung Yip Road westbound and Wong Chuk Hang Road westbound.

B.     Traffic Diversion

From 11.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following day on 8 and 9 April 2026

Affected vehicles on Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road northbound heading for Aberdeen Praya Road westbound will be diverted via Wong Chuk Hang Road eastbound, U-turn, Wong Chuk Hang Road westbound.

From 11.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following day on 13 and 14 April 2026

Affected vehicles on Wong Chuk Hang Road westbound heading for Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road southbound will be diverted via Aberdeen Praya Road westbound, the elevated road leading to Aberdeen Main Road northbound, Aberdeen Main Road northbound, Lok Yeung Street westbound, Tung Sing Road northbound, Aberdeen Main Road southbound and Aberdeen Praya Road eastbound.

C.     Bus and Green Minibus Diversion

From 11.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following day on 8 and 9 April 2026

Citybus Route Nos. 90B, 91, 95C, 98, 595, A10 and NA10 (Admiralty / Central / Chi Fu / Aberdeen / Shek Pai Wan / Airport bound) and Green Minibus Route Nos. 27, 39C and 63(Aberdeen / Queen Mary Hospital bound) will be temporarily diverted via Wong Chuk Hang Road eastbound, U-turn, then resume the original routeings on Wong Chuk Hang Road westbound.

From 11.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following day on 13 and 14 April 2026

Citybus Route Nos. 90, 99, 592 and N90 (Ap Lei Chau Estate / South Horizons bound), Cross Habour Route Nos. 171 and N171 (South Horizons / Ap Lei Chau Estate bound) and Green Minibus Route Nos. 29 and 36X (Ap Lei Chau Estate / Ap Lei Chau (Ping Lan Street) bound) will be temporarily diverted via Aberdeen Praya Road westbound, flyover, Aberdeen Main Road northbound, Lok Yeung Street westbound, Tung Sing Road northbound, Aberdeen Main Road southbound and Aberdeen Praya Road eastbound, then resume the original routeings on Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road southbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists.
