TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Central District

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Central District during the periods specified below:

A.     Road and Lane Closure

The following road sections and traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

From 11.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following day on 3 and 4 April 2026

1. 1. 1. The section of Man Kwong Street east of Man Yiu Street;
      2. The right lane of Man Kwong Street eastbound near Man Yiu Street; and
      3. The left lane of Man Yiu Street northbound near Man Kwong Street.

From 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 4 April 2026

1. 1. 1. The section of Man Yiu Street between Man Kwong Street and Yiu Sing Street;
      2. The right lane of Yiu Sing Street westbound near Man Yiu Street; and
      3. The right lane of Man Yiu Street northbound near Yiu Sing Street.

From 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 5 April 2026

1. 1. 1. Yiu Sing Street;
      2. The section of Man Yiu Street between Man Kwong Street and Lung Wo Road;
      3. The rightmost lane of Lung Wo Road westbound near Yiu Sing Street;
      4. The leftmost lane of Lung Wo Road eastbound near Yiu Sing Street;
      5. The right lane of Man Yiu Street northbound near Man Cheung Street;
      6. The leftmost lane of Man Cheung Street eastbound near Man Yiu Street; and
      7. The section of Man Po Street near Man Yiu Street.

B.     Traffic Diversion

From 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 4 and 5 April 2026

1. 1. 1. Affected vehicles on Man Kwong Street westbound will be diverted via the slip road leading to Central Wan-Chai Bypass eastbound; and
      2. Affected vehicles on Lung Wo Road westbound or Man Cheung Street eastbound or Man Yiu Street northbound heading for Man Kwong Street will be diverted via Man Cheung Street westbound and Connaught Road Central westbound.

From 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 4 April 2026

1. 1. 1. Affected vehicles on Man Po Street heading for Man Kwong Street will be diverted via Man Yiu Street southbound, Man Cheung Street westbound and Connaught Road Central westbound; and
      2. Affected vehicles on Yiu Sing Street westbound heading for Man Kwong Street will be diverted via Finance Street, Man Cheung Street eastbound, U-turn, Man Cheung Street westbound and Connaught Road Central westbound.

From 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 5 April 2026

Affected vehicles on Man Po Street heading for Central District or Wan Chai will be diverted via the slip road leading to Finance Street, Finance Street and Man Cheung Street eastbound.

C.     Suspension of Metered Parking Spaces

All metered parking spaces at Yiu Sing Street will be temporarily suspended from 1.00 am to 5.00 am on 5 April 2026.

D.     Suspension of Bus Stop

The bus stop of CTB Route No. 15 on Man Kwong Street eastbound outside Central Pier No. 8 will be temporarily suspended from 11.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following day on 3 and 4 April 2026.

E.     Suspension of Taxi Stand

The taxi stand on Man Kwong Street eastbound outside Central Pier No. 8 will be temporarily suspended from 11.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following day on 3 and 4 April 2026.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists. The bus company will display notices to advise passengers on the above arrangements
