Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Lung Cheung Road, Wong Tai Sin

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Lung Cheung Road from 11.00 pm to 5.00 am of the following day daily on 2, 8 and 9 April 2026: -

  1. Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:-

  1. The second and third leftmost lanes of Lung Cheung Road westbound between Hung Ngok House and Kam Wan House;

  2. The section of the slow lane and middle lane of Lung Cheung Road westbound between Kam Wan House and Tai Hom Substation; and

  3. The slip road leading from Lung Cheung Road westbound to Tate's Cairn Tunnel northbound.
  1. Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles on Lung Cheung Road westbound heading for Tate's Cairn Tunnel northbound will be temporarily diverted via Lung Cheung Road westbound, Po Kong Village Road northbound, Tai Hom Road eastbound and the slip road leading from Tai Hom Road eastbound to Tate's Cairn Tunnel northbound.

  1. Public Transport Arrangements

  1. KMB route nos. 74D, 74X, 80X, 83X, 88, 89C, 89D, 89X, 277E and 277X on Lung Cheung Road westbound heading for Tate's Cairn Tunnel northbound will be temporarily diverted via Lung Cheung Road westbound, Choi Hung Road westbound, Hammer Hill Road northbound, roundabout, Fung Tak Road westbound, Lung Poon Street southbound, Tai Hom Road eastbound and the slip road leading from Tai Hom Road northbound to Tate's Cairn Tunnel northbound before resuming their original routeings; and

  2. KMB route nos. 38, 40, 40P, 42C, 80, 89, 290, 290A, 290X, X42C, N290 and New Territories GMB route no. 102S on Lung Cheung Road westbound will be temporarily diverted via slip road, Choi Hung Road westbound, slip road and Lung Cheung Road westbound before resuming their original routeings;

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangement.
