ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES IN TAKU STREET AND BULKELEY STREET, HUNG HOM


         In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 am on 15 April 2026 to 6.00 pm on 13 May 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily.

    1. The section of Taku Street from a point about 5 meters south of its junction with Wuhu Street to a point about 40 metres south of the same junction; and

    2. The northern kerbside lane of Bulkeley Street from its junction with Taku Street to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction.

         Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

           (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

           (b)  loading or unloading goods.

         The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

         At the same time, existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
