TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements at Gage Street and Lyndhurst Terrace, Central

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate excavation works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented at Gage Street and Lyndhurst Terrace from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily on Mondays to Thursdays between 20 April 2026 and 14 May 2026:

A.     Road Closure

The following road section will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

1. 1. 1. The section of Gage Street between Lyndhurst Terrace and Peel Street; and
      2. The section of right lane of Lyndhurst Terrace near Gage Street.

B.     Traffic Diversion

1. 1. 1. Affected vehicles exceeding 5.5 tonnes in gross weight on Lyndhurst Terrace heading for Aberdeen Street will be diverted via Hollywood Road, Wyndham Street, Queen's Road Central, Possession Street and Hollywood Road; and
      2. Affected vehicles under 5.5 tonnes in gross weight on Lyndhurst Terrace heading for Aberdeen Street will be diverted via Graham Street and Staunton Street.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists.
