TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Lin Tak Road and Tseung Kwan O Road, Kwun Tong

       Motorists are advised that to facilitate construction works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Kwun Tong from 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily during the period from 21 to 22 April 2026.

  1. Lane Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

    1. The slow lane of Lin Tak Road northbound from its junction with Tseung Kwan O Road to a point about 100 metres south of the same junction; and

    2. The fast lane of Lin Tak Road southbound from its junction with Tseung Kwan O Road to a point about 40 metres north of the same junction.
  1. Banning of Turning Movement
    1. Vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn from Lin Tak Road northbound onto Tseung Kwan O Road westbound; and

    2. Vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn from Lin Tak Road southbound onto Tseung Kwan O Road westbound.
  1. Traffic Diversion
    1. Affected vehicles on Lin Tak Road northbound heading to Tseung Kwan O Road westbound will be diverted via Lin Tak Road northbound, Sau Mau Ping Road westbound, roundabout, Sau Mau Ping Road eastbound, Lin Tak Road southbound, Tak Tin Street westbound, Kai Tin Road northbound and Tseung Kwan O Road westbound; and

    2. Affected vehicles on Lin Tak Road southbound heading to Tseung Kwan O Road westbound will be diverted via Lin Tak Road southbound, Tak Tin Street westbound, Kai Tin Road northbound and Tseung Kwan O Road westbound.
  1. Public Transport Arrangements
    1. KMB Route Nos. 98A (Kwun Tong bound), 213M (Lam Tin bound) and 293S (Mei Foo bound) and XHT Route No. N691 (Hong Kong Island bound) will be diverted via Lin Tak Road southbound, Tak Tin Street westbound, Kai Tin Road northbound, Tseung Kwan O Road westbound and then resume original routeing; and

    2. Kowloon GMB Route No. 63 (Kwun Tong bound) will be diverted via Lin Tak Road northbound, Sau Mau Ping Road westbound, roundabout, Sau Mau Ping Road eastbound, Lin Tak Road southbound, Tak Tin Street westbound, Kai Tin Road northbound, Tseung Kwan O Road westbound and then resume original routeing.

       Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care. Notices will also be displayed by public transport operators to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
