ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374 SUB. LEG. G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON FANLING BYPASS, FUNG LING ROAD, SHA TAU KOK ROAD – LUNG YEUK TAU AND ON KUI STREET, FANLING
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 3 May 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
- Fanling Bypass from its junction with Fung Ling Road to a point about 40 metres east of the same junction;
- Fung Ling Road from its junction with Fanling Bypass to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
- the roundabout at the junction of Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau and the slip road of Fanling Bypass;
- the western kerbside lane of Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound from its junction with the slip road of Fanling Bypass northbound to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;
- the western kerbside lane of Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound from its junction with the slip road of Fanling Bypass southbound to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound from its junction with the slip road of Fanling Bypass southbound to a point about 60 metres north of the same junction;
- the eastern kerbside lane of Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound from its junction with On Kui Street northbound to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;
- On Kui Street northbound from its junction with Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
- The slip road of Fanling Bypass northbound from its junction with Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound to a point about 5 metres north of the same junction; and
- The slip road of Fanling Bypass southbound from its junction with Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
- picking up or setting down passengers; or
- loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
