In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that from 8.00 a.m. on 3 May 2026, the following road sections will be subject to the speed limits as specified below:

(a) Speed Limit of 50 kilometres per hour

1. Fanling Bypass southbound from its junction with Fung Ling Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
2. Fanling Bypass northbound from a point about 480 metres east of its junction with Fung Ling Road to the same junction;
3. The slip road connecting Fanling Bypass southbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound from its junction with Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound to a point about 140 metres north of the same junction;
4. The slip road connecting Fanling Bypass northbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound from its junction with Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound to a point about 80 metres north of the same junction;
5. The slip road connecting Fanling Bypass southbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound from its junction with Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound to a point about 170 metres south of the same junction; and
6. The slip road connecting Fanling Bypass northbound and On Kui Street northbound from its junction with On Kui Street northbound to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction.

(b) Speed Limit of 80 kilometres per hour

1. Fanling Bypass northbound from its junction with Fanling Highway northbound to a point about 480 metres east of its junction with Fung Ling Road;
2. Fanling Bypass southbound from a point about 20 metres east of its junction with Fung Ling Road to its junction with Fanling Highway southbound;
3. The slip road connecting Fanling Bypass southbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound from its junction with Fanling Bypass southbound to a point about 180 metres south of the same junction;
4. The slip road connecting Fanling Bypass northbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau northbound from its junction with Fanling Bypass northbound to a point about 270 metres south of the same junction;
5. The slip road connecting Fanling Bypass southbound and Sha Tau Kok Road – Lung Yeuk Tau southbound from its junction with Fanling Bypass southbound to a point about 120 metres north of the same junction; and
6. The slip road connecting Fanling Bypass northbound and On Kui Street northbound from its junction with Fanling Bypass northbound to a point about 60 metres north of the same junction.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
