ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES ON WYLIE ROAD, JORDAN

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374G), I hereby direct that with effect from 08.00 a.m. on 4 May 2026 to 6.00 p.m. on 31 May 2026, the following section will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. the western kerbside lane of Wylie Road from about 60 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road to Queen Elizabeth Hospital to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction; and

    2. the eastern kerbside lane of Wylie Road from about 10 metres north of its junction with the unnamed access road to Queen Elizabeth Hospital to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner of Transport, are prohibited from:

           (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

           (b) loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
