ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT ON TSING LONG HIGHWAY, YUEN LONG

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 11.00 p.m. on 4 May 2026 to 6.00 a.m. on 5 May 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to the speed limits as described below:

        (i) The section of Tsing Long Highway northbound from about chainage marker 23.8 to about chainage marker 24.2 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour; and
        (ii) The section of Tsing Long Highway northbound from about chainage marker 24.2 to about chainage marker 25.3 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
