Special Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Cha Kwo Ling for Tin Hau Festival 2026

       Notice is hereby given that the following special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Cha Kwo Ling on from 8.00 am to 3.00 pm on 9 May 2026 (Saturday) to facilitate the Tin Hau Festival procession:

1. Lane Closure

The slow lane of Cha Kwo Ling Road eastbound between Wai Yip Street and Lam Tin Interchange will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

2. Road Closure

The section of Cha Kwo Ling Road eastbound between Wing Fook Street and Wai Yip Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

3. Traffic Diversion

Vehicles heading to Cha Kwo Ling Road eastbound will be diverted via the unnamed slip road leading from Cha Kwo Ling Road to Wai Yip Street, Wai Yip Street westbound, Wai Fat Road northbound, Wai Fat Road southbound, Wai Yip Street eastbound and Cha Kwo Ling Road eastbound.

4. Public Transport Arrangements

1. Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 23B and 23C will be diverted via the unnamed slip road leading from Cha Kwo Ling Road to Wai Yip Street, Wai Yip Street westbound, Wai Fat Road northbound, Wai Fat Road southbound, Wai Yip Street eastbound and Cha Kwo Ling Road eastbound and then resume original routeing; and
   
   
2. The GMB stop along Cha Kwo Ling Road eastbound between Wing Fook Street and Lam Tin Interchange for Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 23B and 23C will be suspended.

         Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care.
