In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily from 11 May 2026 to 30 June 2026, the following sections of San Tin Highway and Fanling Highway will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour:

(i)    the section of Fanling Highway westbound between about chainage marker 31.3B and about chainage marker 31.4B; and
(ii)   the section of San Tin Highway westbound between about chainage marker 31.4B and about chainage marker 31.7B.

　　Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

　　At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
