ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES ON KING'S ROAD, QUARRY BAY

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 18 May 2026 to 10.00 am on 12 June 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

(a) the eastern kerbside lane of King's Road southbound from a point about 65 metres south of its junction with Mansion Street to a point about 95 metres south of the same junction; and

(b) the western kerbside lane of King's Road northbound from a point about 80 metres south of its junction with Mansion Street to a point about 130 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
