ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES ON HUNG LUEN ROAD AND WA SHUN STREET, HUNG HOM


         In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 pm on 22 May 2026 to 6.00 pm on 31 July 2026, the following road sections will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

    1. The northern kerbside lane of Hung Luen Road from a point about 20 metres east of its southern junction with Oi King Street to a point about 125 metres east of the same junction;

    2. The southern kerbside lane of Hung Luen Road from a point about 160 metres east of its junction with Kin Wan Street to a point about 215 metres east of the same junction; and

    3. The northern kerbside lane of Wa Shun Street from 10 metres east of its junction with Hung Luen Road to a point about 75 metres east of the same junction; and

    4. The southern kerbside lane of Wa Shun Street from 10 metres east of its junction with Hung Luen Road to a point about 115 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
