ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONE IN YAU MA TEI

         In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 22 May 2026, the eastern kerbside lane of Parkes Street from a point about 10 metres north of its junction with Nanking Street to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction will be designated as a restricted zone from 7.00 a.m. to 12.00 midnight daily.

         Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

             (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

             (b)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate road markings and traffic signs.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
