In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 1.00 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. daily during the periods from 29 to 30 May 2026 and from 9 to 10 June 2026, the section of West Kowloon Highway southbound from its junction with Hoi Fai Road roundabout to a point about 450 metres south of its junction with elevated road of Lin Cheung Road will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

         At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
