In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 26 May 2026 to 6.00 pm on 25 May 2027, the section of Castle Peak Road – Tsing Lung Tau westbound from a point about 240 meters east of its junction with Hoi Long Path to a point about 200 meters west of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
