Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Shan Ha Road, Yuen Long


        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate construction works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Shan Ha Road from 10.15 p.m. to 5.45 a.m. of the following day daily on 22 and 23 June and 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20 and 21 July 2026:

(I)    Road Closure

The section of Shan Ha Road from its junction with Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange to a point about 280 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II)   Traffic Diversion

(i)     Affected vehicles on Town Park Road South, Town Park Road North or Lam Hau Tsuen Road northbound heading for Shan Ha Road southbound will be diverted via Ma Tin Road eastbound, Yuen Long Tai Yuk Road northbound, Castle Peak Road – Yuen Long westbound, Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan westbound, Shui Pin Wai Interchange, Long Tin Road southbound, Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange, Long Hon Road southbound and the temporary vehicular bridge connecting Long Hon Road and Shan Ha Road eastbound;
(ii)    Affected vehicles on Ma Tin Road westbound heading for Shan Ha Road southbound will be diverted via Yuen Long Tai Yuk Road northbound, Castle Peak Road – Yuen Long westbound, Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan westbound, Shui Pin Wai Interchange, Long Tin Road southbound, Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange, Long Hon Road southbound and the temporary vehicular bridge connecting Long Hon Road and Shan Ha Road eastbound; and
(iii)   Affected vehicles on Shan Ha Road northbound heading for Town Park Road South will be diverted via the temporary vehicular bridge connecting Long Hon Road and Shan Ha Road westbound, Long Hon Road northbound, Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange, Long Tin Road northbound, Shui Pin Wai Interchange, Wang Tat Road eastbound, Ping Wui Street southbound, Yuen Long On Ning Road westbound, Ma Miu Road southbound, Yuen Long Tai Yuk Road southbound and Ma Tin Road westbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.
