ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
Temporary Speed Limits on West Kowloon Highway

         In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily on 3, 6, 7, 10 and 14 July 2026 as described below:

1. 1. the section of West Kowloon Highway northbound from about chainage marker 4.5 to about chainage marker 5.0 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour; and
      
      
   2. the section of West Kowloon Highway northbound from about chainage marker 5.0 to about chainage marker 6.3 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

         Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
