Traffic Advice

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements
on Tai Ho Road, Tsuen Wan

        Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Tai Ho Road:

Lane Closure

    1. The fast lane of the section of Tai Ho Road northbound from its junction with Castle Peak Road – Tsuen Wan westbound to a point about 143 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic from 9.00 p.m. on 9 July 2026 to 6.00 a.m. of the following day; and
    2. The fast lane of the section of Tai Ho Road northbound from a point about 143 metres south of its junction with Castle Peak Road – Tsuen Wan westbound to a point about 198 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic from 1.00 a.m. to 6.00 a.m. on 10 July 2026; and
    3. The u-turn slip road connecting Tai Ho Road northbound and Tai Ho Road southbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic from 9.00 p.m. on 9 July 2026 to 6.00 a.m. of the following day.

Traffic Diversion

    1. Affected vehicles on Tai Ho Road northbound heading for Tai Ho Road southbound via the u-turn slip road will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Tsuen Wan westbound, Sai Lau Kok Road northbound and Sai Lau Kok Road eastbound.

Public Transport Arrangement

    1. NT GMB routes no. 96 (Tsuen Wan (Hoi Pa Street bound) will be diverted via Sha Tsui Road eastbound, Chuen Lung Street northbound, Hau Tei Square westbound, Hau Tei Square northbound and Hoi Pa Street eastbound before resuming its original routeing; and
    2. NT GMB routes no. 313 (Princess Margaret Hospital bound) will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Tsuen Wan westbound, Sai Lau Kok Road northbound and Sai Lau Kok Road eastbound before resuming its original routing.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
