ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES IN CHUNG HAU STREET, HO MAN TIN

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 pm on 8 July 2026 to 6.00 pm on 8 July 2027, the following road sections in Chung Hau Street will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones during the time periods specified below:

24 hours daily

The western kerbside lane of Chung Hau Street northbound from a point about 240 meters north of its southern junction with Hau Man Street to a point about 330 meters north of same junction.

From 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight daily

The western kerbside lane of Chung Hau Street northbound from a point about 220 meters north of its southern junction with Hau Man Street to a point about 240 meters north of same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

          (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

          (b)  loading or unloading goods.

       The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings

       At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
