TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements at Belcher's Street and Smithfield, Western District

        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate water works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented at Belcher's Street and Smithfield during the periods specified below:

A.     Lane Closure

The following traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic by phases:

From 9.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily on Mondays to Fridays from 7 to 14 and 22 to 28 July 2026

1. 1. 1. The section of left lane of Belcher's Street near Smithfield; and
      2. Part of the traffic lanes of Smithfield near Belcher's Street.

From 9.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 15 to 17 July 2026; and
From 10.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day on 20 and 21 July 2026

1. 1. 1. The section of right lane of Belcher's Street near Smithfield; and
      2. The section of left lane of Smithfield near Belcher's Street.

B.     Relocation of GMB Stop

The stop of HKI GMB Route No. 12 on Smithfield outside Man Kwong Court will be temporarily relocated about 5 metres southward from 9.00 pm on 7 July 2026 to 6.00 am on 15 July 2026 and from 9.00 pm on 22 July 2026 to 6.00 am on 29 July 2026.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorist. The GMB operator will display notices to advise passengers on the above arrangements.
