ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONE ON AUSTIN ROAD WEST, TSIM SHA TSUI

       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 20 July 2026 to 0.00 am on 16 November 2026, the southern kerbside lane of Austin Road West westbound from a point about 25 metres east of its junction with Museum Drive to a point about 175 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily designated as a restricted zone 24 hours daily.

       Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

         (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

         (b)  loading or unloading goods.

       The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

       At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
