Temporary Speed Limit on Shing Mun Tunnel Road

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily on 7 and 8 July 2026, the section of Shing Mun Tunnel Road westbound from a point about 1 560 metres east of its junction with the entrance of Shing Mun Tunnels westbound tunnel tube to a point about 1 250 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
