Motorists are advised that, to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui on 20, 21, 22 and 23 July 2026, and on 24, 25, 26 and 27 August 2026, daily from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm:

        I.From 10.00 am to 4.00 pm daily on 20 and 21 July, and 24 and 25 August 2026

1. Lane Closure
   
   The leftmost lane of Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui northbound between a point about 40 metres north from its junction with Lai Ping Road and Chek Nai Ping Village Refuse Collection Point will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
   
   
2. Banning of Turning Movement
   
   All vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui northbound onto Chek Nai Ping Village Refuse Collection Point.
   
   
3. Traffic Diversion
   
   Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui northbound heading for Chek Nai Ping Village Refuse Collection Point will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui northbound, Tai Po Road – Tai Po Kau northbound, the slip road leading to Tai Po Kau Garden, Tai Po Road – Tai Po Kau southbound and Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui southbound.

2. Traffic Direction Conversions
   
   a. The rightmost lane of Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui northbound from a point about 70 metres north from its junction with Lai Ping Road to a point about 40 metres south from its junction with Chung Chi Road will be temporarily allocated for southbound traffic; and
   
   b. The rightmost lane of Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui northbound from a point about 100 metres south from its junction with University Avenue to a point about 90 metres north from its junction with Chung Chi Road will be temporarily allocated for southbound traffic.
   
   
3. Traffic Diversion
   
   Affected vehicles on De Yucca heading for Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui southbound will be diverted via Tai Po Road – Ma Liu Shui northbound, Tai Po Road – Tai Po Kau northbound, the slip road leading to Tai Po Kau Garden and Tai Po Road – Tai Po Kau southbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
