ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES IN TAI KOK TSUI

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 13 July 2026, the following road sections in Tai Kok Tsui will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

    1. the northern kerbside lane of Bedford Road from its junction with Tai Kok Tsui Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;

    2. the southern kerbside lane of Bedford Road from its junction with Tai Kok Tsui Road to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;

    3. the southern kerbside lane of Sycamore Street from a point about 65 metres west of its junction with Maple Street to a point about 140 metres west of the same junction;

    4. the eastern kerbside lane of Tai Kok Tsui Road from a point about 40 metres north of its junction with Bedford Road to a point about 50 metres south of the same junction;

    5. the northern kerbside lane of Willow Street from its junction with Tai Kok Tsui Road to a point about 55 metres east of the same junction; and

    6. the southern kerbside lane of Willow Street from a point about 5 metres west of its junction with Maple Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

          (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

          (b)  loading or unloading goods.

       The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
