In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.01 a.m. to 6.00 a.m. daily during the period from 24 July 2026 to 6 August 2026 (except Sundays), the section of Kong Sham Western Highway southbound from a point about 30 metres north of chainage marker 6.1S to a point about 55 metres south of chainage marker 7.6S will be temporarily subject to the speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
