Traffic Advice

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements
on Sai Lau Kok Road, Tsuen Wan

        Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Sai Lau Kok Road from 0.30 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. daily on 19 and 21 July 2026:

Lane Closure
All lanes of the section of Sai Lau Kok Road northbound between Mei Wan Street and Castle Peak Road - Tsuen Wan will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

Traffic Diversion

    1. Affected vehicles on Castle Peak Road - Tsuen Wan eastbound heading for Sai Lau Kok Road northbound will be diverted via Tai Ho Road northbound and Sai Lau Kok Road westbound; and
    2. Affected vehicles on Castle Peak Road - Tsuen Wan westbound heading for Sai Lau Kok Road northbound will be diverted via Tsuen King Circuit northbound and Mei Wan Street eastbound.

Public Transport Arrangement

    1. LWB Route No. E32A (Tung Chung Pier - Kwai Fong (South)) (Kwai Fong (South) bound), KMB Route Nos. 39M (Tsuen Wan Allway Gardens – Tsuen Wan Station (Circular)) and 53 (Yoho Mall (Yuen Long) – Tsuen Wan (Nina Tower)) (Tsuen Wan (Nina Tower) bound) will be temporarily diverted via Tai Ho Road northbound, Sai Lau Kok Road westbound and Tsuen Wan Station Bus Terminus before resuming its original routing.
    2. The en-route stops of the abovementioned bus routes on Sai Lau Kok Road eastbound near Tsuen Wan MTR Station will be temporarily relocated to Tsuen Wan Station Bus Terminus;
    3. GMB Route No. 95A (Tsuen Tak Gardens - Tsuen Wan Station (circular)) will be temporarily diverted via Tai Ho Road northbound, Sai Lau Kok Road eastbound, Kwu Uk Lane and Sai Lau Kok Road westbound and Tai Ho Road southbound before resuming its original routing;
    4. GMB Route No. 96B (Belvedere Garden - Tsuen Wan Station(circular)) will be temporarily diverted via Tai Ho Road northbound, Sai Lau Kok Road eastbound, Kwu Uk Lane and Sai Lau Kok Road westbound and Tai Ho Road southbound before resuming its original routing;
    5. GMB Route No. 96M (Tsing Lung Tau - Tsuen Wan Station) (Tsuen Wan Station bound) will be temporarily diverted via Tai Ho Road northbound before resuming its original routing; and
    6. The en-route stops of the abovementioned GMB routes on Sai Lau Kok Road eastbound near Tsuen Wan MTR Station will be temporarily relocated to the lay-by at Sai Lau Kok Road eastbound outside Luk Yeung Galleria.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
