In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. daily, on 26 July 2026 and 2 August 2026, the section of Ching Cheung Road westbound from a point about 100 metres west of its junction with Butterfly Valley Road to a point about 1000 metres west of the same junction, will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
