In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 8.00 a.m. on 24 July 2026 to 6.00 p.m. on 5 January 2027, the section of Kam Tin Bypass eastbound from a point about 350 metres east of its junction with Kam Hing Road to a point about 780 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the temporary speed limit as gazetted on 10 July 2026 under G.N. 4211 will be rescinded.
