Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Ping Che Road, North District

Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate drainage works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Ping Che Road from 10 a.m. on 29 July 2026 to 6 p.m. on 28 November 2026:

Traffic Arrangement

Ping Che Road from its junction with the unnamed access road near Lee Uk Village to a point about 50 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily converted to one-lane two-way traffic.

Banning of Turning Movement

  1. All vehicles with length over 10 metres on Ping Che Road southbound will be prohibited from turning right onto the unnamed access road westbound near Lee Uk Village; and
  2. All vehicles with length over 7 metres on the unnamed access road eastbound near Lee Uk Village will be prohibited from turning left onto Ping Che Road northbound.

Traffic Diversion

  1. Affected vehicles on the unnamed access road eastbound near Lee Uk Village heading for Ping Che Road northbound will be diverted via Ping Che Road southbound, the roundabout, and Ping Che Road northbound; and
  2. Affected vehicles on Ping Che Road southbound heading for the unnamed access road westbound near Lee Uk Village will be diverted via Ping Che Road southbound, the roundabout, and Ping Che Road northbound.

Public Transport Arrangements

  1. The Lee Uk Village bus stop (Ta Kwu Leng (Tsung Yuen Ha) bound) of KMB Route No. 79K will be temporarily relocated about 40 metres northwards; and
  2. The terminus at Lee Uk Village on Ping Che Road of GMB Route No. 52K will be temporarily relocated about 65 metres westwards to the unnamed access road near Lee Uk Village.

Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
