ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)\
EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTED ZONES ON CHUK YUEN ROAD, WONG TAI SIN

         In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 7.00 p.m. on 31 July 2026 to 7.00 p.m. on 30 September 2026, the following road sections will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily: -

    1. the southern kerbside lane of Chuk Yuen Road from a point about 70 metres west of its junction with Nga Chuk Road to a point about 130 metres west of the same junction;

    2. the southern kerbside lane of Chuk Yuen Road from a point about 135 metres west of its junction with Nga Chuk Road to a point about 185 metres west of the same junction; and

    3. the southern kerbside lane of Chuk Yuen Road from a point about 190 metres east of its junction with Choi Chuk Street to a point about 75 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: -

          (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

          (b)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
