In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. on the following day daily during the period from 6 August 2026 to 20 August 2026 (except Sundays), the section of Kong Sham Western Highway southbound from a point about 30 metres north of chainage marker 6.1S to a point about 55 metres south of chainage marker 8.0S will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
