In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.01 a.m. on 2 August 2026 to 6.00 a.m. on 31 October 2026, the section of West Kowloon Highway southbound from about chainage marker 4.8 to about chainage marker 3.0 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
