In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 0.01 a.m. to 6.00 a.m. daily during the period from 17 August 2026 to 22 August 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to the speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:—

1. 1. the section of Tuen Mun Road northbound from a point about 15 metres south of lamp post number GC0522 to a point about 20 metres north of lamp post number GD1979; and
   2. the section of Tuen Mun Road southbound from a point about 135 metres north of lamp post number GC0555 to a point about 10 metres south of lamp post number GC0524.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limits on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
