Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kwu Tung Road, North District


Motorists are advised that, to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Kwu Tung Road from 10 am to 4 pm daily (except Sundays and public holidays) from 11 August 2026 to 31 December 2026.

1. Traffic Arrangement


The section of Kwu Tung Road of about 60 metres in length outside Valais will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic.

2. Public Transport Arrangement


The stop of New Territories GMB Route No. 50A on Kwu Tung Road eastbound near Valais will be temporarily relocated about 50 metres westwards.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
