TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Central District

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate construction works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Central District from 12.30 am to 5.30 am daily from 12 to 15, 19 to 22 and 26 to 29 August 2026:

A.     Road and Lane Closure

The following road sections and traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

From 12 to 15, 19 to 22 and 26 to 29 August 2026

      1. Yiu Sing Street;
      2. The section of Man Kwong Street east of Man Yiu Street;
      3. The right lane of Lung Wo Road westbound near Yiu Sing Street;
      4. The left lane of Lung Wo Road eastbound near Yiu Sing Street;
      5. The leftmost and second leftmost lanes of Man Yiu Street southbound between Man Kwong Street and Lung Wo Road; and
      6. The second leftmost lane of Man Po Street near Yiu Sing Street.

On 12 and 19 August 2026

      1. The section of roundabout east of Man Yiu Street;
      2. The right lane of Man Yiu Street northbound near Man Kwong Street; and
      3. The right lane of Man Kwong Street eastbound near Man Yiu Street.

B.     Traffic Diversion

      1. Affected vehicles on Yiu Sing Street westbound heading for Finance Street or Man Kwong Street will be diverted via Lung Wo Road westbound and Man Yiu Street northbound;
      2. Affected vehicles on Yiu Sing Street eastbound heading for Lung Wo Road eastbound will be diverted via Man Yiu Street southbound; and
      3. Affected vehicles on Lung Wo Road eastbound heading for Man Kwong Street will be diverted via Edinburgh Place southbound, Harcourt Road eastbound, Tim Wa Avenue northbound, Lung Wo Road westbound and Man Yiu Street northbound.

C.     Suspension of Metered Parking Spaces

All metered parking spaces at Yiu Sing Street will be suspended.

D.     Suspension of Taxi Stand

The taxi stand at Man Kwong Street outside Central Pier No.8 will be suspended.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists.
