In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 27(1) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 14 August 2026, San Sham Road will be closed to all motor vehicles 24 hours daily, except urban taxis and New Territories taxis (from 11.00 p.m. to 6.30 a.m. the following day) which enter or leave the said road sections for the sole purpose of carrying persons to or from the Lok Ma Chau Boundary Control Point and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport.

　　The extent of the closed roads will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.

　　At the same time, the existing closed road area on San Sham Road will be rescinded.
