Temporary Traffic Arrangement on Lok Ma Chau Road, Yuen Long

  Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the conduction of works by the Civil Engineering and Development Department for the San Tin Technopole Development, the following temporary traffic measures will be carried out at Lok Ma Chau Road, Yuen Long from 5.00 a.m. on 15 August 2026:

(I) Road Closure

  The section of Lok Ma Chau Road from its junction with Innovation And Technology Park Road to lamppost BD0965 will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II) Traffic Diversion

(i) Affected vehicles on Lok Ma Chau Road southbound heading for San Tin will be diverted via the new formed connection road and Ha Wan Tsuen East Road; and
(ii) Affected vehicles on Lok Ma Chau Road northbound heading for Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Control Point will be diverted via Ha Wan Tsuen East Road and the new formed connection road.

(III) Transport Arrangements

(i) KMB Route No. B1 (both bounds) will be diverted via the new formed connection road and Ha Wan Tsuen East Road, before resuming its original routeing;
(ii) The bus stop of KMB Route No. B1 (Tin Tsz bound) on Lok Ma Chau Road southbound will be temporarily relocated to Ha Wan Tsuen East Road southbound;
(iii) The bus stop of KMB Route No. B1 (Lok Ma Chau Station bound) on Lok Ma Chau Road northbound will be temporarily relocated to Ha Wan Tsuen East Road northbound; and
(iv) NT GMB Route No. 75 (both bounds) will be diverted via the new formed connection road and Ha Wan Tsuen East Road, before resuming its original routeing.

  Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

  As it may take longer travelling time than usual in view of the temporary traffic arrangement, the public are advised to allow more time for their journeys to/from Lok Ma Chau Control Point and the areas in the vicinity.
