ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON PITT STREET, WATERLOO ROAD AND NATHAN ROAD, YAU MA TEI

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 1 September 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

    1. the section of Pitt Street from its junction with Nathan Road to a point about 35 metres east of the same junction;

    2. the northern kerbside lane of Waterloo Road from its junction with Tung Fong Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;

    3. the northern kerbside lane of the unnamed road near 524 Nathan Road from its junction with Nathan Road to point about 75 metres east of the same junction; and

    4. the southern kerbside lane of the unnamed road near 524 Nathan Road from a point about 45 metres east of its junction with Nathan Road to point about 65 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

           (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

           (b)  loading or unloading goods.

       The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate road markings.

       At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be rescinded.
