Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Tsuen Wan Road and Hing Fong Road during the periods as specified below:

(A)    From 9.30 pm on 18 August to 5.30 am on 19 August 2026

(I)     Lane Closure

• The slow lane of Tsuen Wan Road southbound from its junction with Hing Fong Road to a point about 98 metres west of the same junction; and
• The slow lane of Hing Fong Road eastbound from its junction with Tsuen Wan Road southbound to a point about 200 metres east of the same junction.

(II)    Banning of turning movement

• All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn movement from Tsuen Wan Road southbound onto Hing Fong Road eastbound.

(III)   Traffic Diversion

• Affected vehicles on Tsuen Wan Road southbound heading for Hing Fong Road eastbound will be diverted to travel via Kwai Tsing Road westbound, Kwai King Road southbound, Container Port Road eastbound and Kwai Fuk Road northbound.

(B)    From 9.30 pm on 20 August to 5.30 am on 21 August 2026

(I)     Lane Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

• The slow lane of Tsuen Wan Road southbound from its junction with Hing Fong Road to a point about 98 metres west of the same junction;
• The second and third leftmost lanes of Hing Fong Road eastbound from its junction with Kwai Fuk Road to a point about 120 metres west of the same junction;
• The rightmost lane of Hing Fong Road westbound from its junction with Kwai Fuk Road to a point about 50 metres east of the same junction; and
• The middle lane of Kwai Fuk Road northbound from its junction with Hing Fong Road to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction

(II)    Banning of turning movement

• All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn movement from Tsuen Wan Road southbound onto Hing Fong Road eastbound.

(III)   Traffic Diversion

• Affected vehicles on Tsuen Wan Road southbound heading for Hing Fong Road eastbound will be diverted to travel via Kwai Tsing Road westbound, Kwai King Road southbound, Container Port Road eastbound and Kwai Fuk Road northbound.

(C)    From 9.30 pm on 25 August to 5.30 am on 26 August 2026

(I)     Lane Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

• The two rightmost lanes of Tsuen Wan Road northbound from its junction with Hing Fong Road to a point about 105 metres south of the same junction;
• The fast right-turning lane of Hing Fong Road westbound from its junction with Tsuen Wan Road to a point about 147 metres east of the same junction;
• The two rightmost lanes of Hing Fong Road eastbound from its junction with Tsuen Wan Road to a point about 110 metres east of the same junction; and
• The second and third rightmost lanes of Kwai Tsing Road eastbound from its junction with Tsuen Wan Road to a point about 97 metres west of the same junction

(II)    Banning of turning movement

• All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn movement from Tsuen Wan Road northbound onto Hing Fong Road eastbound; and
• All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from turning right from Hing Fong Road westbound onto Tsuen Wan Road northbound.

(III)   Traffic Diversion

• Affected vehicles on Tsuen Wan Road northbound heading for Hing Fong Road eastbound will be diverted to travel via Kwai Tsing Road westbound, Kwai King Road southbound, Kwai Tai Road southbound, Container Port Road eastbound and Kwai Fuk Road northbound; and
• Affected vehicles on Hing Fong Road westbound heading for Tsuen Wan Road northbound will be diverted to travel via Kwai Tsing Road westbound, Kwai King Road southbound, Kwai Tai Road southbound, Container Port Road Roundabout No.1, Kwai Tai Road northbound, Kwai King Road northbound, Kwai Tsing Road westbound and Kwai Tsing Road eastbound.

(IV)   Public Transport Arrangements

• LW Route Nos. A30 (Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) bound) and NA30 (Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (Hong Kong Port) Public Transport Interchange bound) will be diverted via Tsing Ma Bridge eastbound, Cheung Tsing Highway southbound, Tsing Yi West Road northbound, Ching Hong Road eastbound, Tsing Yi Road northbound, Kwai Tsing Road eastbound before resuming their original routings.

        Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
