Motorists are advised that to facilitate electricity works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Kung Um Road from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. daily on Mondays to Fridays during the period from 31 August 2026 to 25 September 2026:

(I)    Road Closure

The section of Kung Um Road southbound from its junction with Kiu Hing Road eastbound to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II)   Banning of Turning Movement

All vehicles on Kung Um Road southbound will be temporarily prohibited from turning left onto Kiu Hing Road eastbound.

(III)  Traffic Diversion

(i)     Affected vehicles on Ma Tong Road westbound heading for Kiu Hing Road eastbound will be diverted via Ma Tin Road westbound, Yuen Long Tai Yuk Road southbound, Shap Pat Heung Road eastbound and Kung Um Road northbound;
(ii)    Affected vehicles on Kung Um Road southbound heading for Kiu Hing Road eastbound will be diverted via the unnamed road connecting to Ma Tin Tsuen and Kung Um Road northbound; and
(iii)   Affected vehicles on Yuen Long Tai Yuk Road southbound heading for Kiu Hing Road eastbound will be diverted via Shap Pat Heung Road eastbound and Kung Um Road northbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.
