ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONE IN CARMEL VILLAGE STREET, HO MAN TIN

            In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 4.00 pm on 28 August 2026, the western kerbside lane of Carmel Village Street from a point about 20 metres north of its junction with Hau Man Street to a point about 85 metres north of the same junction will be designated as restricted zone from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm daily (except general holidays).

            Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses, public light buses, taxi pick up or drop off and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

                 (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
