In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that from 11.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. on the following days daily, from 28 August 2026 to 30 September 2026, the section of Ching Cheung Road eastbound from a point about 2000 metres west of its junction with Tai Po Road northbound to a point about 300 metres east of the same junction, will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
