Road Traffic Ordinance (Chapter 374)
Temporary Speed Limit on Tai Po Road-Sha Tin, Sha Tin

     In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(b) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect daily from 12.00 mn to 6.00 am on 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 and 11 September 2026, Tai Po Road – Sha Tin northbound from a point about 460 metres south of its junction with Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to a point about 440 metres north of the same junction shall be subject at different times to the speed limits of 80 kilometres per hour or 50 kilometres per hour.

     Any change in the speed limit in accordance with this notice may be put into effect from time to time by appropriate traffic signs to be erected, displayed, replaced, removed or altered on site so as to ensure that adequate guidance is given to drivers of motor vehicles as to the speed limits currently to be observed on the roads.
