Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangement at Airport Road, Chek Lap Kok
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate the footbridge demolishing works at Airport Road, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 00:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. on 28 August 2026 at the following road sections:
- Road Closure
(i) A section of Airport Road southbound from its junction with Airport North Interchange to its junction with Airport South Interchange will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and
(ii) A section of Airport Road southbound from its junction with Cheong Hong Road to its junction with Airport South Interchange will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
- Traffic Diversion
(i) Affected vehicles on Airport North Interchange heading to Airport South Interchange will be diverted via Sky City Road southbound, Third Sky Street eastbound, Sky City Road East southbound, Sky City Interchange, and Cheong Lin Road westbound; and
(ii) Affected vehicles on Cheong Hong Road heading to Airport South Interchange will be diverted via Airport North Interchange, Sky City Road southbound, Third Sky Street eastbound, Sky City Road East southbound, Sky City Interchange, and Cheong Lin Road westbound.
- Public Transport Arrangements
(i) CTB Routes No. E23A (Airport bound), N11, N21, N21A, N23, N26, N29 (both bounds), LWB Routes No. N30 (Yuen Long bound), N64 (Tung Chung bound), N42, N42A, S64 (both bounds) and NLB Route No. N35 (both bounds) will be diverted via Sky City Road southbound, Third Sky Street eastbound, Sky City Road East southbound, Sky City Interchange and Cheong Lin Road westbound before resuming the original routeing; and
(ii) CTB Routes No. A11, A21, A22, A29, NA10, NA11, NA12, NA20, NA21, NA29, LWB Routes No. A30, A31, A32, A33X, A36, A41, A43, A46, NA30, NA31, NA32, NA33, NA36, NA37, NA40, NA41, NA43, NA47 and NA52 heading to Airport Terminal 2 or Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) will be diverted via Airport North Interchange, Sky City Road southbound, Third Sky Street eastbound, Sky City Road East southbound, Sky City Interchange and Cheong Lin Road westbound before resuming the original routeing.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The franchised bus operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
