TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements at Gage Street, Central

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate drainage works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented at Gage Street from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily on Mondays to Thursdays (except Public Holidays) from 7 September 2026 to 7 October 2026:

A.     Road Closure

The section of Gage Street between Lyndhurst Terrace and Graham Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

B.     Traffic Diversion

1. 1. 1. Affected vehicles exceeding 5.5 tonnes in gross weight on Lyndhurst Terrace heading for Aberdeen Street will be diverted via Hollywood Road, Wyndham Street, Queen's Road Central, Possession Street and Hollywood Road; and
      2. Affected vehicles under 5.5 tonnes in gross weight on Lyndhurst Terrace heading for Aberdeen Street will be diverted via Graham Street and Staunton Street.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists.
