TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Chuk Yuen Road and Wing Chuk Street, Wong Tai Sin
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate drainage improvement works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Chuk Yuen Road westbound and Wing Chuk Street southbound from 1.30 am to 5.00 am daily on 13, 20 and 27 September 2026:-
- Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic: -
- The section of Chuk Yuen Road westbound between Chuk Yuen Plaza and Wah Yuen House;
- The section of Chuk Yuen Road westbound between Wing Yuen House and Ma Chai Hang Road;
- Part of slow lane of Chuk Yuen Road westbound near Chuk Yuen Plaza; and
- Part of fast lane of Wing Chuk Street southbound near Chung Yuen House.
- Traffic Diversions
Affected vehicles on Chuk Yuen Road westbound heading for Wing Chuk Street and Choi Chuk Street will be diverted via Chuk Yuen Road eastbound, Nga Chuk Street southbound, Wong Tai Sin Road westbound, Ma Chai Hang Road northbound and Chuk Yuen Road eastbound.
- Public Transport Arrangement
- CTB route no. N26 (Tung Chung Station bound) will be diverted via Chuk Yuen Road eastbound, Nga Chuk Street southbound, Wong Tai Sin Road westbound, Ma Chai Hang Road northbound before resuming its original routeing. The bus stop for CTB route no. N26 on Chuk Yuen Road westbound near Wing Yuen House of Chuk Yuen South Estate will be temporarily suspended.
- Kowloon GMB route no. 66S (Mongkok bound) will be diverted via Chuk Yuen Road eastbound, Nga Chuk Street southbound, Wong Tai Sin Road westbound, Ma Chai Hang Road westbound before resuming its original routeing. The GMB stops for Kowloon GMB route no. 66S on Chuk Yuen Road westbound near Baptist Rainbow Primary School and Ma Chai Hang Road southbound near Ma Chai Hang Recreation Ground will be temporarily suspended.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangement.
