Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tai Po Road–Yuen Chau Tsai, Tai Po


        Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 12.30 am to 5.30 am daily from 14 to 25 September 2026 (except Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays).

(I)    Road Closure

The slip road from Tai Po Road – Yuen Chau Tsai eastbound near Wang Fuk Court leading to Tolo Highway southbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II)   Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles on Tai Po Road – Yuen Chau Tsai eastbound heading to Tolo Highway southbound will be diverted to travel via Nam Wan Road northbound, Tai Po Tai Wo Road eastbound and Yuen Shin Road southbound.

(III)  Public Transport Service Arrangements

XHT Route No. N307 (Sheung Wan bound), LWB Route Nos. N42A & NA47 (Lantau bound), KMB Route Nos. N73 & N271 (Shatin and Kowloon bound) and GMB Route No. 501S (Kwun Tong Yue Man Square bound) will be diverted to travel via Tai Po Road – Yuen Chau Tsai westbound, Nam Wan Road northbound, Tai Po Tai Wo Road eastbound and Yuen Shin Road southbound before resuming their normal routeings.

        Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
